Pre-orders for the device are now open on Chinese e-commerce platforms ahead of the official release. While full specifications have not yet been disclosed, Xiaomi has confirmed several key details about the handset.
Display and cooling
The Redmi K90 Max will feature a 6.83-inch display with a 165Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,500 nits. A dedicated active cooling fan is also built into the device, measuring 18.1mm. Xiaomi claims the system can reduce the device’s temperature by 10°C within 100 seconds during sustained gaming sessions.
Build and design
The K90 Max carries IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, offering protection against dust, water immersion, and high-pressure water jets. The device features an aluminium alloy frame and has been shown so far in a Space Silver colour option. Teaser images confirm a dual rear camera setup, though further details on the camera configuration have not been revealed.
Specifications
Leaked information suggests the K90 Max may be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor alongside a D2 discrete graphics chip, though neither has been officially confirmed by Xiaomi.
Regional outlook
While the Redmi K90 Max is set for an initial launch in China, Xiaomi’s broader presence across the Middle East makes the device of interest to regional consumers. The company has consistently brought its gaming-oriented hardware to markets including the UAE and Saudi Arabia, and further availability details are expected following the China launch.
