Epic Games Store starts 2020 with three free games

The holidays may be over, but Epic Games Store is keeping the festivities going with an additional round of free games: “Darksiders: Warmastered Edition,” “Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition,” and “Steep.”

The “Darksiders” titles are hack-and-slash games in which players assume the roles of War and Death, two members of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. These are remasters that offer enhanced graphics. The sequel also comes with all DLC included.

“Steep” is something entirely different. This is an open-world sports title that takes players to the chilly Alps for a variety of extreme sports (e.g., skis, wingsuits, snowboards, paragliders). Stunts can be recorded and shared with friends. t’s an open-world winter sports affair where you can ski, glide around in a wingsuit

These games will be up for grabs until January 9 (11:00 AM EST).

In addition to all three free titles, Epic has extended the Epic Store holiday sale another week. Encore Week features many of the sales from the Epic Store’s original holiday sale from 2019. The sale is live now, and lasts until Jan. 7. DarksidersDarksiders 2, and Steep are free on the Epic Games Store until Jan. 9
