As part of its commitment to advancing the gaming industry in the Middle East and Africa, Lenovo has signed a club sponsorship deal with Nasr Esports – the MENA region’s leading esports organization.

Since 2016, Nasr Esports has been developing esports talent in the region by identifying, mentoring and managing several global top 10 ranked Arab players. Nasr also has dedicated teams for popular gaming titles such as League of Legends, FIFA and Fortnite. The club roster currently consists of more than 30 professionals from 15 countries in the MENA region, who have won over 300 gaming tournaments around the world.

Commenting on the partnership, Mohammed Hilili, Lenovo General Manager Gulf, Saudi Arabia & East Africa said, “With the popularity of gaming continuing to grow exponentially, Lenovo remains focused on enhancing the experience of esports gaming for both casual and professional gamers alike. We are proud to be supporting Nasr Esports in its efforts to nurture homegrown talent and expand their reach to an international audience.”

Lenovo’s sponsorship of Nasr Esports sees the company continue its efforts to enhance the experience of gamers, following the introduction of its LEGION gaming PCs. Designed to make gaming more accessible to a wider audience, the LEGION range consists of laptops, monitors and accessories engineered with the latest technologies and cutting-edge design for enhanced immersion.

“We are thrilled to have Lenovo onboard as our club sponsor for the current season. This partnership is a testament to the commitment that Lenovo and Nasr have made to raise the profile of esports in the MENA region. Nasr has been at the forefront of esports in the region and we are looking forward to joining hands with a global technology giant like Lenovo to develop the esports scene and regional talent in the coming years.” said Lalit Vase Nasr Esports – Club Director.
