Performance

ProArt StudioBook Pro X delivers extreme performance, with professional‑grade NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 graphics to allow users to edit and render multilayered files easily, and 9th Generation Intel Xeon hexa-core processors to handle complex, multithreaded applications.

The Quadro RTX GPU provides users with more CUDA, RT and Tensor cores, enabling real-time viewing of environmental shading and lighting effects, ultra-smooth and ultrafast rendering of animations, and effortless 8K video editing on the go.

For storage, a CPU-attached RAID 0 ensures the fastest possible performance, supporting speeds of up to 6 GB/s compared to the 4 GB/s of typical SSDs. The RAID 0 setup spreads data across multiple drives to enhance data read/write performance, so the system and apps boot up in an instant.

Display

ProArt StudioBook Pro X is also the first Quadro laptop to feature the four‑sided ASUS NanoEdge display with a 92% screen‑to‑body ratio. The 16:10 aspect, PANTONE Validated panel provides 25% more onscreen working area compared to a standard 16:9 aspect ratio display, so itʹs able to accommodate the top and bottom toolbars found on most creative apps.

Together with a wide 97% DCI‑P3 color gamut and Delta‑E color accuracy of less than 1.5, users are guaranteed immersive visuals and exceptional colors.

Streamlined workflows

ProArt StudioBook Pro X is the first in the series to feature ASUS ScreenPad 2.0. This interactive secondary touchscreen upgrades the traditional laptop experience, providing users with an intuitive smartphone-like interface on which they can easily manage tasks and create their own seamless multitasking creative workflows. Toolbars and reference files can be moved down to ScreenPad, allowing for more useable screen area on the display, while keeping the necessary tools and functions in view.

ProArt StudioBook Pro X includes a collection of handy ASUS utilities to boost productivity: The Quick Key enables one-tap automation of complex keyboard sequences, Handwriting enables natural text input, and the Number Key enables rapid data entry.

Connectivity

ProArt StudioBook Pro X can support up to three external displays via its HDMI 2.0 and two USB Type-C (USB-C) ports with Thunderbolt 3 support. This version of Thunderbolt 3 utilizes Intel’s latest Titan Ridge JHL7340 controller, which is compatible with DisplayPort 1.4, and allows output to supported 8K displays. These ports are joined by three USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A ports, so there’s plenty of connectivity for thumb drives, external storage and peripherals without the need for USB hubs.

With faster-than-wired speeds of up to 2.4 Gbps — three times as fast as 802.11ac — the dual-band WiFi 6 (802.11ax) delivers speedy large-file transfers, with greater range and more stable network connections. In addition, ProArt StudioBook Pro X features gigabit Ethernet, and a high-speed SD card reader (SD 4.0 / UHS-II) for memory cards.

ASUS tests and invests in comprehensive Independent Software Vendor (ISV) certification processes to ensure users enjoy the very best experience with professional software applications.
