Oppo Find X9 Ultra UAE: The Oppo Find X9 Ultra launches globally on 8 May 2026. It is the first Ultra-tier Find X phone to go on sale outside China, and it arrives with five rear cameras co-engineered with Hasselblad, including an industry-first 50MP 10x optical telephoto. The Find X9 Ultra is the most ambitious camera phone Oppo has released and marks a significant step for the brand in global markets. Every previous Ultra model in the Find X line — including last year’s Find X8 Ultra — was sold exclusively in China. The X9 Ultra changes that, with confirmed availability across the UAE, UK, Europe, India, and other global markets from May 2026.

What makes the Oppo Find X9 Ultra different

The Find X9 Ultra carries five rear cameras, all developed in partnership with Hasselblad. The primary sensor is a 200MP wide-angle camera with a 1/1.12-inch Sony LYTIA 901 sensor and f/1.5 aperture — one of the fastest and largest sensors in any current smartphone. The second rear camera is a 200MP 3x periscope telephoto at f/2.2 with optical stabilisation that also functions as a macro lens for close-up shots.

The third rear camera introduces what Oppo describes as an industry first: a 50MP 10x optical telephoto at f/3.5, using a Quintuple Prism Reflection Periscope Structure that folds the light path five times to fit a full 10x optical lens into a smartphone body, achieving up to 20x optical-quality zoom. A 50MP ultrawide with a 123-degree field of view and a 3.2MP monochrome sensor complete the five-lens rear system.

All lenses feed into Hasselblad Master Mode, which captures images in 50MP RAW MAX and 50MP JPEG MAX across six focal lengths — 14mm, 23mm, 47mm, 70mm, 139mm, and 230mm — bypassing the aggressive tone mapping typical of smartphone processing. Nine classic Hasselblad film simulations are included, with the option to save custom presets.

Display and performance

The Find X9 Ultra uses a 6.82-inch AMOLED panel with a 1–120Hz adaptive refresh rate, expandable to 144Hz in select gaming scenarios. Resolution is QHD+ at 3168 x 1440 pixels, with 510 PPI pixel density, 100 percent DCI-P3 colour coverage, and 1,800 nits of HBM brightness. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with an Adreno 840 GPU running at 1,200MHz. The phone runs ColorOS 16.0 based on Android 16, with five years of major Android updates and six years of security patches committed.

Battery and charging

The Find X9 Ultra houses a 7,050mAh silicon-carbon battery. Charging options include 100W OPPO SuperVOOC wired charging, 50W AIRVOOC magnetic wireless charging using an optional dedicated charger with a built-in cooling fan, and 10W reverse wireless charging.

Build and design

The Find X9 Ultra is available in two colours: Canyon Orange and Tundra Umber. The Canyon Orange model measures 8.65mm thick and weighs 235g. The Tundra Umber model is slightly thicker at 9.10mm and weighs 236g. Both use an eco leather back with an aluminium frame and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 front. Overall dimensions are 163.16mm tall and 76.97mm wide.

Water and dust resistance is rated at IP66, IP68, and IP69. Storage configurations are 12GB RAM with 512GB storage or 16GB RAM with 1TB storage, both using UFS 4.1 flash memory. Connectivity covers Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, an infrared sensor, and USB Type-C with USB 3.2 Gen 1 speeds.
