How to scan text on iPhone

The built-in text scanner on your iPhone is a useful feature that allows you to quickly and easily capture text from printed documents, business cards, or other sources. Using the text scanner is simple: just open the Notes app, create a new note, and tap on the camera icon to access the scanner.

Once you have opened the scanner, you can point your camera at the text you want to scan on iPhone. The scanner will automatically detect the text and highlight it in blue. If the scanner does not detect the text correctly, you can adjust the selection by dragging the blue handles on the edges of the highlighted area.

How to scan text on iPhone:

  1. Open the Notes app on your iPhone.
  2. Create a new note or open an existing one.
  3. Tap on the camera icon in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Position your camera over the text you want to scan. The text should be clearly visible and well-lit.
  5. Tap on the text in the preview to highlight it. The scanner will automatically detect the text and highlight it in blue.
  6. If the scanner does not detect the text correctly, you can adjust the selection by dragging the blue handles on the edges of the highlighted area.
