CD PROJEKT RED announces ‘Cyber-up Your PC’ contest

Submissions are open until May 17th, 2020, 17:00 UAE time. Entries will be judged on their feasibility, creativity, and faithfulness to the Cyberpunk 2077 styles. Anyone who wishes to participate in the contest should ensure their design meets the eligibility criteria listed on the official Cyber-up Your PC website, before entering the contest via the online form.

For the submission phase designs — no construction is needed. The contest accepts 3D renders but the submitted files need to be JPG or PNG format. You can also submit a drawing subject to their experts rating on the feasibility of your design.

To make sure your entry has the best chance of being selected in the CD Projekt Red contest, please make sure that your design fulfils the following criteria:

  • At least one part of the design has to be/include recycled material (for example, an old circuit board as decoration)
  • The design has to follow one of the style guidelines, feature a megacorporation logo, or a gang logo from Cyberpunk 2077 (assets are available here)
  • In Night City, the rich and the poor live right next to each other; make this contrast visible in your design

A panel of experts will select 5 top entries from all valid submissions, these will be announced on May 29th, 2020. The 5 selected entries will be constructed by professional case modders from around the world, and a grand winner will be selected during the competition finale — a set to take place on 17th-18th July, 2020.

Prizes up for grabs include high-grade PC gaming gear sponsored by Alienware, NVIDIA, and SteelSeries, with the grand winner to be awarded with a main prize during the live finale.

Visit the official website to submit your entry on CD Projekt Red contest website
