Snowsky ECHO Review: A Retro Music Player With Surprisingly Capable Audio
Our Snowsky ECHO review examines its sound quality, build, 4.4mm balanced output, battery life, Bluetooth, USB DAC features and overall value.
For power users who need reliable, fast charging in a portable form, the Shargeek 170 is one of the best options on the market today.

The Shargeek 170 is not your average power bank. With a striking transparent design, a smart OLED display, and high-power delivery support, it aims to be both a practical charging solution and a statement piece. After spending time with it, we found it to be one of the most capable power banks currently available, especially for those who rely on power-hungry devices.
Right out of the box, the Shargeek 170 stands out with its translucent casing that reveals six EV-grade battery cells and the internal circuitry. It has a prism-like shape that makes it comfortable to hold and easy to grip. The build feels premium, though the clear finish may pick up scuffs over time.

On the front, there’s a bright OLED smart display angled for easy viewing. It provides real-time details such as remaining battery percentage, charging/discharging wattage, estimated time to full charge or depletion, and input/output status. A large yellow side button controls the display and activates modes such as low-current charging for smaller devices like earbuds or fitness bands.

The unit is IP66 rated, giving it resistance against dust and splashes — handy for outdoor use or coffee shop accidents. At 667 grams, it’s definitely on the heavier side, so it will add bulk to a backpack.
The Shargeek 170 features:
The total combined output is 170W, with smart power distribution depending on the ports used:

This flexibility makes it possible to charge two laptops simultaneously, or a laptop, tablet, and phone at once.
The power bank itself recharges just as impressively, supporting up to 140W input, meaning a full recharge of its 24,000mAh capacity in about 45 minutes with a compatible charger. Pass-through charging is also supported, so you can power devices while topping up the bank itself.
In testing, the Shargeek 170 delivered excellent results. It had no issues charging a MacBook Pro at full 140W, while still powering an iPhone or iPad alongside. Two laptops at the same time also charged reliably, making it a strong option for professionals on the go.
For smaller devices like smartphones, tablets, and accessories, charging speeds hit the maximum supported wattages. The low-current mode was especially useful for TWS earbuds and smartwatches.

We also appreciated the protective features built in, including over-voltage, under-voltage, and overheating safeguards. The smart display proved more than a gimmick — it made it easy to monitor usage and remaining time.
The 24,000mAh battery is rated at 86.4Wh, making it airline-safe. In practice, that’s roughly one full laptop charge, five to six phone charges, or multiple cycles for tablets and smaller electronics. It’s perfect for keeping multiple devices powered during long travel days, though its size and weight are considerations if you’re aiming to travel light.
The Shargeek 170 is a premium, high-capacity power bank that lives up to its claims. Its transparent design and smart display make it stand out, but more importantly, its performance is excellent. Whether charging laptops, gaming handhelds, cameras, or multiple smaller devices, it handles demanding loads with ease.
The trade-offs are its size, weight, and price, but for power users who need reliable, fast charging in a portable form, it’s one of the best options on the market today.
