Honor Magic 6 Pro launches in India: What magics await you!

Honor Magic 6 Pro is now available in India. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Honor rolled out its flagship Honor Magic 6 Pro in India. You can purchase the new Honor magic from August 15th through the company’s website, online platforms like Amazon and authorized offline retail stores. Priced at Rs 89,999, the dual SIM handset appears in black and Epic Green colourways.

Honor Magic 6 Pro: The magical specifications

Honor Magic 6 Pro has enough features to boast. To begin with, it has a quad-curved floating screen. Precisely, it has a 6-8-inch (17.27 cm) FHD+ display with 1280×2800 pixel resolution. The display offers up to 120Hz refresh rate and up to 5000 nits of peak brightness levels. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset) processors power the smartphone. This helps in better connectivity. The front camera is 50-megapixel, and the rear camera is 50-megapixel + 50-megapixel + 108-megapixel (periscope telephoto camera).

Other specifications:

  • Storage- 256GB
  • RAM- 12GB
  • OS- Android 14
  • Resolution- 1264×2800 pixels
  • Battery Capacity- 5600mAh
  • Dolby Vision support.

The battery comes with 80W wired fast charging and 66W wireless charging support. The Honor E1 chip and the custom power management system helps in improved battery backup. The Honor Magic has an IP68 rating and a NanoCrystal Shield. This makes the model resistant to dust and water. It also has dual speakers tuned DTS:X Ultrasound effects. The speakers measure 162.5 x 75.8 x 8.9mm. The front camera houses a secondary 3D depth sensor. The Honor Magic 6 Pro also comes with the Honor AI Motion Sensing capture designed for different types of sports. The set also has an internal storage of 512GB. The smartphone runs MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14 out of the box.

The phone was initially released in China in January this year. According to the company, the Magic 6 Pro is a “powerhouse that provides users an unparalleled flagship experience and transforms the way individuals live, work, and stay connected.” The company has revealed that its new Honor Magic 6 Pro received five Gold DxOMark 2024 Gold label certifications from the Gadgets and Tech Products Reviews platform DxOMark. The certifications are for front and rear cameras, display, battery and the audio experience. However, the company has not yet given any clue on the vanilla version will arrive in India.

Honor Magic 6 Pro: Rivals ruling the market

The new Honor Magic has many rivals running on the same Snapdragon 8 Gen chipset. Among them are the other flagship phones including the Xiaomi 14, OnePlus 12 and iQOO 12. These phones offer all the premium features too.

About the EMI:

If you can’t afford the new Honor Magic smartphone, you can avail the no cost EMI for up to 12 months starting at Rs 7,500. This launch offer is exclusive and would end soon. Besides, the company has also announced that the smartphone will not have a price drop for the next 180 days.
