ASUS Vivobook S14 M433 Review: The Perfect Budget Laptop

The ASUS VivoBook S14 M433 is an impressive budget laptop with solid build quality and great performance.

Going back just a couple of years, for under AED 3,000, you’d get a bulky laptop with underpowered hardware and a cheap keyboard/trackpad. The Vivobook S14 M433I changes all that with a starting price of AED 2,899.

The ASUS S14 M433 is a mainstream budget laptop designed for the younger generation. The M433 is identical to the S433 which was launched in May this year, except for the brand-new Ryzen 4000 series processor and a cheaper price tag.

The VivoBook S14 M433 is equipped with the latest AMD Ryzen 7 4700U, the world’s first 8-core processor for the ultra-thin notebook segment, and is based on the Zen 2 architecture.

Along with 8GB DDR4-2666 memory, integrated AMD Radeon RX Vega 7 graphics, and 512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD, the M433 offers a remarkable increase in overall performance.

In terms of display, the M433 has a 14-inch LED backlit Full HD screen with 16:9 aspect ratio, 100% sRGB color coverage and 250 nits brightness.

We fell in love with the M433 during our review and found it to be the perfect budget laptop. Don’t let the term “budget laptop” deceive you, this laptop punches above its weight.
