RODE LPA1 Launches the LPA1 Professional Low-Profile Studio Arm

RØDE has announced the LPA1, a professional low-profile studio arm designed for microphones and other equipment used in recording, broadcasting, video podcasting and streaming setups.

The LPA1 is designed to sit below the camera’s line of sight, helping keep the microphone close to the speaker while maintaining a clear camera frame. Its compact design is aimed at setups where desk space and on-camera visibility are important considerations.

The studio arm supports up to 2kg, making it RØDE’s highest-capacity studio arm to date. It is compatible with a range of end-address and side-address microphones, including the company’s PodMic, PodMic USB, Procaster and Broadcaster, as well as large-diaphragm condenser microphones such as the NT1 series.

The LPA1 features an all-metal construction and offers a 750mm horizontal reach. Its arm provides 90 degrees of upward adjustment and 60 degrees downward, while 360-degree articulation allows users to position connected equipment at different angles and heights. An integrated ball mount provides additional positioning flexibility.

Cable management is built into the arm, allowing XLR and USB cables to be routed along its length rather than left across the desk. The included clamp supports desks up to 70mm thick.

The LPA1 also supports 1/4-inch, 3/8-inch and 5/8-inch mounting threads, allowing it to be used with a range of microphones, cameras, lights and other compatible accessories.

The RØDE LPA1 is available now in black for US$139 and ships worldwide. A white version is expected to be released at a later date.
