Design

The VIVIDSTORM S ALR Obsidian Floor Rising Screen arrives securely packaged in a box measuring nearly 2.5 meters in length and weighing 28kg, ensuring safe delivery without any concerns.

Unboxing reveals not only the S ALR Motorized Tension Floor Rising screen and its power cord but also a comprehensive array of accessories, including an RF remote with wall mount, IR remote with wall mount and adapter, height adjustment rods (preset to maximum height), wireless projection trigger with manual, screws for base leg securing, and a user manual.

On inspection, the design showcases thoughtful details. The company logo is prominently displayed on the right side, while the left side features the IR receiver and rubber-capped holes for height adjustment. The left side also houses the power port, with a replaceable fuse, as well as power on/off and extend/retract switches for user convenience.

Setting up the screen is fairly simple. Find a suitable location for the base, connect the screen to a power source and simply use the remote or the built in switch to extend the screen. Then find a suitable location to set up your project within the correct height for projection within the screen area.

When fully extended, the 100-inch ALR screen, inclusive of its base, measures 2431mm in length (with the screen alone at 2276mm), 1635mm in height (with the screen at 1515mm), and 160mm in depth. The screen’s left and right pull wires ensure a taut surface with minimal wrinkles and curls, enhancing viewing quality.
