Fitbit Air price and editions

The standard Fitbit Air costs $99.99 and includes a three-month Google Health Premium trial. At launch, the device is available in multiple colour options through standard performance loop and active band configurations.

A Stephen Curry Special Edition is available at $129.99, featuring a design inspired by the Golden State Warriors point guard who teased the device on Instagram in the weeks before launch. Google has confirmed the Special Edition will have a limited regional release and will not be available in all markets where the standard Fitbit Air launches.

After the included three-month trial, Google Health Premium costs $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year. This subscription unlocks the Google Health Coach powered by Gemini, advanced sleep and health insights, and premium workout content.

What the Fitbit Air tracks

The Fitbit Air tracks heart rate continuously using an optical sensor, blood oxygen levels via red and infrared SpO2 sensors, skin temperature, steps, estimated calorie burn, and sleep stages. Sleep tracking is fully automatic — no activation is required before bed. All data syncs to the Google Health app over Bluetooth and is viewable on Android and iOS.

The device has no built-in GPS. Outdoor workout routes cannot be mapped without a paired phone. The tracker automatically detects activity types without requiring manual workout logging.

Google Health Coach

The Fitbit Air launches alongside Google Health Coach, an AI-powered personal health advisor built on Gemini. The Coach has access to the user’s full tracking history and responds to questions about sleep quality, recovery, activity trends, and general health topics with personalised rather than generic answers. Users can also log lifestyle factors — nutrition, injuries, schedule changes — to help the Coach give more contextual guidance. In supported regions, medical records can be connected to provide a more complete health picture.

Google Health Coach was previously available in public preview within the Fitbit app. With the Fitbit Air launch it moves to general availability as the centrepiece of the rebranded Google Health app.

Battery and charging

Battery life is rated at seven days. The Fitbit Air charges via a new pill-shaped magnetic USB-C charger — a departure from the proprietary charging cables that came with previous Fitbit devices. A full charge takes 90 minutes. Five minutes of charging provides a full day of use, making brief morning top-ups a practical daily habit.

Where to buy the Fitbit Air

The Fitbit Air is available for pre-order now through the Google Store and major retailers in the United States and other confirmed launch markets. It ships from 26 May 2026.

UAE availability has not been confirmed. Google’s existing Fitbit range is stocked in the UAE by Amazon UAE, Noon, Sharaf DG, Virgin Megastore, and Jumbo Electronics. UAE pricing and availability will be updated here as soon as Google makes an official announcement.
