iQOO Z9s and Pro: Meet The smartest mid-range smartphones

Vivo sub-brand iQOO confirms that it will launch its smartest and the latest mid-range smartphones in India. The much-awaited iQOO Z9s and iQOO Z9s Pro are expected to make a grand entry to the big-door mid-range segment in India on August 21. Here are the key specifications the company has shared about its two newbies.

iQOO Z9s and iQOO Z9s Pro specifications:

Qualcomm is the new hero anywhere and everywhere. iQOO has also confirmed that the Z9s Pro will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. The company has announced that the Z9s Pro will feature a 120Hz 3D curved AMOLED panel. The device will feature a peak brightness of 4500 nits making it the brightest display in India under the ₹25,000 price bracket. The phone comes in two colourways: Flamboyant Orange and Luxe Marble. If one is electrifying, the other is elegant.

Both the iQOO Z9s and iQOO Z9s Pro have a 50MP Sony IMX 882 primary sensor to boast. These primary sensors give support to optical image stabilization (OIS), 4K video recording and Night Mode. The company has claimed to feature an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens. With a 5,500 mAh battery and an inclusion of features like AI Photo Enhance and AI Erase will set a healthy battle with the OnePlus Nord CE 4.
Compared to the Z9s Pro, the iQOO Z9s comes with a lower peak brightness of 1800 nits. Similar to the former device, the latter also has a 3D curved AMOLED panel. Both the devices come with a thickness of 7.49mm.

The fresh launch teaser hints that the Z9s Pro’s design is inspired by iQOO 12, the company’s flagship offering. It is inferred that the users will experience a premium design in the mid-range segment. While comparing with the iQOO 12, the Z9s model has a slimmer body with curved frames. There is also a light texture on the back panel. This means iQOO is experimenting on the minute elements. It is not yet confirmed whether whether the device will have a glass or plastic body. The official poster also claims that the iQOO Z9s series has scored 8.2 lakh on the AnTuTu, Gadget and tech buying guides and software benchmarking platform, which is expected to be for the Pro version.
