Xbox Console Prices Have Gone Up Across the Board
Xbox Console Prices: Microsoft has raised prices across its Xbox lineup effective August 1, 2026, with 512GB models increasing by $100 and 1TB models by $150.
Xbox Series X – New Chip Picture Points To 8K Target
Xbox Head Phil Spencer recently showed on his Twitter profile picture. It reads Project Scarlett on the chip as well as "8K".
Next generation of consoles will be out during this year, around Holiday season. Microsoft seems to be ahead of Sony this moment, revealing the Xbox Series X. There seems to be varied speculation about current released material with both consoles.
Xbox Head Phil Spencer recently showed on his Twitter profile picture, giving us what we can only assume is the next gen console’s main processor chip. It reads Project Scarlett on the chip as well as “8K”.
While 4K is still in the works, so possibly 8K would be the next step after that. Like I mentioned it is only speculation, as nothing has been officially confirmed yet. Maybe soon we will hear more, or maybe it’s just a funny prank, we will have to wait and find out.
