Acer’s newest Predator Helios 700, now available in UAE, is a gaming notebook that offers great performance in an unconventional design.
The notebook comes equipped with innovative technology including up to an all new Intel 9th generation Core-i9 processor with overclocking support. You find an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 GPU with up to 32GB of DDR4 memory. Both Killer DoubleShot Pro and Wi-Fi 6 AX 1,650 and E3,000 combine to provide four times more network capacity in dense environments compared to the previous generation.
That power is also capable of bringing any game to life on the notebook’s display. It boasts a 17-inch 144Hz FHD IPS panel with a 3ms response time and Nvidia G-Sync technology. For greater immersion when gaming, you find five speakers and a subwoofer that provides full and realistic audio.
The Helios Predator 700 has an interesting feature that is extremely useful. Its HyperDrift keyboard is part of the notebook’s thermals. They include two custom fans, five copper heat pipes and a vapour chamber. By simply sliding the keyboard forward, two additional air intakes are uncovered. This gives the powerful components in the laptop extra air flow
Furthermore, with the keyboard closer to users, you can maintain a good distance to the 17-inch display without overextending your hands. By doing so, the laptop provides desktop-like comfort in a notebook form factor. Its precision touch-pad also comes outlined with blue lighting and features two discrete mouse buttons for easy clicking.
