Huawei Watch Fit 5 Series launches in UAE — sapphire glass, titanium build, and diabetes risk assessment from AED 649

The Huawei Watch Fit 5 Series is now available for pre-order in the UAE. The Watch Fit 5 starts at AED 649 and the Watch Fit 5 Pro is priced at AED 999. Pre-order customers receive complimentary gifts worth AED 288 and an AED 100 instant discount on the original retail price.

Huawei unveiled the Watch Fit 5 Series at its Now Is Your Spark global launch event in Bangkok. The series arrives in the UAE on 11 May 2026, with both models available for pre-order via Huawei’s official UAE online store. On-shelf retail availability is expected shortly after.

Huawei Watch Fit 5 Pro specifications

Design and display

The Watch Fit 5 Pro retains the series’ signature square form factor with a notable step up in materials. The bezel is crafted from aerospace-grade titanium alloy, with the Orange and Black editions using aerospace-grade aluminium alloy cases. The display is a 1.92-inch flexible LTPO AMOLED panel with an adaptive 1Hz to 60Hz refresh rate, 3,000 nits of peak brightness, ultra-thin 1.8mm bezels on all sides, and an 83 percent screen-to-body ratio. It is protected by 2.5D sapphire glass. The watch weighs 30.4g and measures 9.5mm thick.

Three colour options are available for the Pro: Orange, White, and Black. The Orange edition uses a HUAWEI AirDry woven strap with a hollow gradient design. The White and Black editions use fluoroelastomer straps. The White edition features a micro-arc oxidation surface treatment that creates a high-hardness ceramic-like coating — described by Huawei as nanoceramic metal technology — resistant to dirt, splashes, and daily wear. The bezel incorporates an oil-filling technique that produces a multi-angle lustre effect.

The standard Watch Fit 5 is available in Silver, Purple, White, Black, and Green.

Sports and fitness

The Watch Fit 5 Series introduces Mini Workouts, a mode designed for users who want to stay active without a gym or dedicated session time. The feature offers 30 animated movements targeting 10 body areas including the head, neck, shoulders, waist, and abdomen, covering exercises such as neck stretches, shoulder rolls, wrist extensions, and ankle mobility drills. All movements are equipment-free and guided on-screen.

Advanced sports modes cover cycling, golf, trail running, and tennis. The cycling mode can automatically detect activity and transform a paired smartphone into a real-time cycling computer. The golf mode supports 17,000-plus global course maps. Trail running includes navigation support. Battery life is rated at up to 10 days under typical usage, with wireless fast charging supported.

Health monitoring

The Watch Fit 5 Pro introduces a diabetes risk assessment feature — a first for the FIT Series. Using the TruSense sensor system, the watch continuously tracks sleep patterns and vital data over a period of 3 to 14 days to evaluate potential metabolic risk and flag early signs of irregularities.

Pulse wave arrhythmia analysis is also new to the series, powered by an advanced PPG sensor that monitors heart rhythm continuously during everyday wear. It can detect potential risks including atrial fibrillation and premature beats. The Watch Fit 5 Pro also includes CE-certified ECG analysis and arterial stiffness detection.

For women’s health, the series introduces ovulation prediction using a continuous body temperature sensor that tracks wrist temperature fluctuations to detect thermal shifts associated with ovulation. The watch also includes sleep stage tracking and Always-On Display support.

Water resistance is rated at 5ATM, with the Pro also rated for 40-metre free diving to EN13319 standard.
