Rapoo MT760L

If you’re in the market for a multi-mode wireless mouse that offers premium ergonomics, good customization, and even some gaming potential—all at an affordable price—the MT760L is one of the best options available right now.

THE GOOD
  • Excellent Value for Money
  • Comfortable Ergonomic Design
  • Multi-Device Wireless Connectivity
  • Decent Gaming Capabilities
  • Rechargeable Battery
THE BAD
  • Software Issues
  • No Gesture Support
  • Limited Mac Functionality

When it comes to productivity mice, Logitech’s MX Master 3 has long been considered the gold standard. But at around $100, it’s far from budget-friendly. So when we came across the Rapoo MT760L—a multi-mode wireless optical mouse retailing for roughly half the price—we had to find out if this budget-friendly alternative could deliver similar performance without major compromises.

Rapoo MT760L Review: Design & Build Quality

It’s immediately clear what Rapoo aimed to do with the MT760L: offer a more affordable alternative that mimics the MX Master 3’s form and function. And on first impressions, it does this impressively well. The MT760L shares a nearly identical ergonomic design, button layout, and even color palette with its more expensive counterpart.

While the materials aren’t quite as premium—Rapoo opts for a more plasticky finish compared to the soft-touch rubber of the MX Master 3—the MT760L still feels solid and well-built. The side scroll wheel is more prominent here, and the use of metallic accents for key buttons gives it a touch of refinement. Overall, we found the design to be very effective, and visually, it could easily be mistaken for the Logitech original.

Verdict: Great design, especially considering the price point.

Rapoo MT760L Review: Comfort

Comfort is where ergonomic mice shine, and the MT760L doesn’t disappoint. The overall shape supports the hand naturally, reducing fatigue during extended use. While it lacks the slightly softer texture of the MX Master 3, the MT760L still feels good in the hand and remains comfortable over long sessions.

Interestingly, it’s also lighter—around 103g compared to the MX Master’s 141g—which makes it easier to maneuver while still feeling substantial. The side scroll wheel is not only more accessible but actually more intuitive to use, especially for horizontal scrolling or custom functions.

Verdict: Excellent comfort, with some user-friendly advantages over the MX Master 3.

Features & Customization

The MT760L offers 7 programmable buttons, along with the ability to reconfigure both the vertical and horizontal scroll wheels. However, it lacks gesture support, which is a popular productivity feature on the MX Master 3.

Software support is where things get a bit less polished. Rapoo’s configuration utility isn’t clearly indicated in the manual, and we had to search online to find the correct version. Even then, some users may encounter compatibility issues, which could be a concern for less tech-savvy buyers.

Verdict: Plenty of programmability, but setup can be time-consuming.

Productivity Meets Gaming

Surprisingly, the MT760L doubles as a competent gaming mouse. While Rapoo doesn’t explicitly market it for gaming, the specs suggest otherwise: a polling rate of up to 1,000Hz and a DPI range from 800 to 4000. These are more than sufficient for casual to moderate gaming, and in our testing, performance was responsive and lag-free.

By contrast, the MX Master 3, with its 125Hz polling rate, clearly wasn’t designed with gaming in mind. So if you’re looking for a productivity mouse that can also handle some gaming, the MT760L is the more versatile choice.

Verdict: A surprising win for versatility.

Connectivity & Battery Life

Both mice offer multi-device support with seamless switching between up to three devices via Bluetooth or the included 2.4GHz USB dongle. The MT760L has a USB-C charging port and also includes a storage compartment for its nano receiver, a small but welcome detail.

Battery life is rated for up to 30 days on a full charge. While this is slightly lower than Logitech’s advertised lifespan, it’s still more than sufficient for most users.

Verdict: Solid connectivity and practical design choices.

Price & Value

At around $50—and even less when on sale—the MT760L offers exceptional value. For users who appreciate the MX Master 3’s form factor but don’t want to spend a premium, this mouse delivers roughly 90% of the experience at 50% of the cost.

Verdict: Outstanding value. Arguably the best budget productivity mouse in its class.

Rapoo MT760L Review: Final Thoughts

If you’re in the market for a multi-mode wireless mouse that offers premium ergonomics, good customization, and even some gaming potential—all at an affordable price—the MT760L is one of the best options available right now. While it falls short in software polish and lacks gesture support, the trade-offs feel minor considering the price.
